1844 The Men’s Division of the UJFT is dedicated to engaging the community in the support of the Federation’s work.

Men’s Division leadership is comprised of over 40 volunteer individuals from every walk of life who serve as ambassadors in the Jewish community to advocate, promote and educate about the Federation’s goals of community building and fundraising. The Men’s division raises over $3 million annually for Jewish education, social welfare, health and community life, and crisis relief here in Tidewater, in Israel and round the Jewish world.

Men's 2015 Campaign Status (as of June 30, 2015)

  • $3,164,895 raised
  • 733 men's gifts
  • 7.4% card-for-card increase from last year

Momentum:
Generally defined as the “force or speed of movement,” here in Tidewater, the UJFT Men’s division defines MOMENTUM as a resurgence of men’s philanthropy. Jewish men are gathering to socialize, network, consider important world issues and give back to the community. It also provides an opportunity for Jewish men who are new to Tidewater to meet their peers and professional counterparts and forge friendships and business relationships based on shared values.
