The Simon Family JCC will host Humans of Tel Aviv creator Erez Kaganovitz as he speaks about his journey discovering the Humans of Tel Aviv and how the public sphere is influenced by the diverse population throughout the city. This event will be followed by an artist led walk through the Leon Family Gallery.

Inspired by the widely popular blog Humans of New York, Israeli journalist and photographer, Erez Kaganovitz founded Humans of Tel Aviv in 2012, currently boasting more than 45,000 followers from around the world via FacebookInstagram and Twitter. His project aims to show the authentic cultural and human diversity of Tel Aviv and the country of Israel, and that Israeli everyday reality not only consists of soldiers, guns and clashes, but also of poets, liberals, conservatives, immigrants, pianists, feminists and so much more.

Pastries and coffee will be provided.
