Want to get involved in YAD? Great! It’s easy! By becoming an active participant in the Young Adult Division, you will find new and exciting ways to meet other young professionals who share your values and interests. YAD is for everyone: singles, couples and young families. YAD has many avenues for you to get involved; here are just a few examples of events and programs offered:
HeBrew Happy Hour
Girls Night Out/Guys Night Out
Lunchtime Business Connection: Party of Four
YAD Men’s Basketball
Looking for Volunteer Opportunities? YAD has you covered!
Make a difference and give back by joining YAD’s Hands on Tidewater (HoT) group for volunteer events around town. HoT events combine a few hours of volunteerism with a chance to get to know other YAD’ians. The commitments are short-term, but the differences can be long-lasting both for those helped and the volunteers themselves.

2016 Young Leadership Campaign Status (January 20, 2016)
We develop an understanding of Tzedakah and the value of being a part of Jewish Philanthropy. You can get involved and make a difference through making a gift to the Young Leadership Campaign (YLC)
The YLC has three special donor societies
Habonim (for YAD donors giving between $118 and $364)
Power of One Society (for YAD donors giving between $365 and $999)
Ben Gurion Society (for YAD donors giving $1000 or more)
All gifts to the YLC benefit UJFT’s Annual Campaign. Even the smallest donation makes a big difference!
