YAD HeBrew Happy Hour: Held monthly at various local bars, HeBrew Happy Hours are a great way to see who else is involved in YAD, meet new people and have a great time with like-minded young Jews in Tidewater!

YAD Singles Program: YAD’s young Jewish singles programming offers a warm, inviting and non-threatening environment where Jewish singles of all ages can meet new people, form friendships and camaraderie, and potentially form meaningful relationships with other like-minded Jewish young adults.

Family Shabbat Dinners: YAD offers several Shabbat dinners for young Jewish families throughout the year; YAD works in collaboration with both the JCC and Chabad of Tidewater to bring you unique and fun family Shabbat experiences!

Holiday programming: YAD offers holiday programming for young adults throughout the year. Most notably, YAD’s annual Chanukah Bash and Purim Party draw hundreds of young Jews out for a rockin’ good time to celebrate together.

The Schmooze: Schmooze programs unite young Jewish adults at coffee shops or in people’s homes for salon-type discussions – issue based conversations with a facilitator. The topics range from politics to ethics but all containing a Jewish aspect.
